And moreso will I only be seen through my words and it be the only escape from the invisibility I have always felt deep in my heart as a Black American woman.
Things just spilled onto the paper and then I tucked the papers away. Sometimes it is hard to do these days because after a day of adulting and parenting, I'm tired. So I sit with the sadness. #MommyFab
Keep writing. Write your heart. Write your mind. Don't give a f*ck about the subject but write. #MommyFab
I cannot lose myself in writing, because as a divorced working parent, there is so much I have to do. It is all on my shoulders. Oh lamentable day. #MommyFab
And that's what inspiration does to you, it ignites you even if you are knee deep in a dark existence. It sets you on fire and that fire causes you to create. Not saying you will be the next Toni Morrison, but it stirs something in your soul. #MommyFab
