Into the void
An act of self care is refusing to fall into the darkness. Sometimes standing in the light with your pain and refusing to let yourself emotionally slip into darkness is the greatest act of self care you can action. #MommyFab
I am so grateful…
Some days it is a pure struggle, but I know I am Blessed. Glory be to God and the universe.
Coming full circle
If you come to my house, it feels like a home. And for the first time in my life, I am no longer running .... I'm happy here in this place, I made a home for me and my modern family.
I am clinging to some key signature pieces that mean the world to me.
I’m depressed periodically during the pandemic, why wouldn’t I be…
I prefer to stay alive. Death is harsh and terribly final. I'm not done living yet.
America is the racist “New World” we thought it to be, nobody is surprised.
Black American people who are descendants of American Chattel Slaves and our real (not performative) allies, I love you truly. Please take care of yourselves. May God keep, Blessed and cover us as we move forward living in this racist "New World". -- #MommyFab
