Passion matters. Especially in relationships. If someone is not passionate about you, are you loved? Can you love without passion? And is love without passion merely settling for convenience?
I once asked a lover what he was passionate about… I was not on that list of things. You can imagine how I felt. And in the end he didn’t value me — at all.
I would rather have a person be passionate about me, my talents or the possibility of loving me than to settle for me because from a respectability standpoint my accomplishments check all the boxes.
And I want to find someone who has a life passion other than watching television and just making it in the world.
